What we collect, and why
This website has one purpose: to let you tell us you are interested. We collect nothing until you fill in one of the forms, and we ask only what we need to answer you.
- Subscription request. Your first and last name, company name and work email, plus the plan you picked: the user tier, country and an optional VAT number.
- Free trial. Your first and last name, company name and work email, which product you want to try, and for DocumentChecker the three countries you selected.
- Talk to us. Your first and last name, company name and work email, and whatever you write in the message.
We use it to reply to you, to prepare a quotation or a trial account, and to set up a subscription if you decide to take one. We do not use it for anything else, we do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.
Why we are allowed to
You ask us for something and we take the steps needed to answer it, which is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Where we follow up on a business enquiry we rely on our legitimate interest in doing so, Article 6(1)(f). You can object to that follow-up at any time and we will stop.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It loads nothing from other companies’ servers — no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no social media buttons, and no external fonts. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing about your visit is recorded until you send us a form.
If we ever add analytics or another tool that changes this, we change this page with it, and we ask your permission first wherever the law requires it.
Who handles your data for us
- HubSpot — our customer relationship system, where your form submission arrives and where we keep the conversation. Our HubSpot data is held in the European Union.
- Google Workspace — our email.
- GitHub — hosting for this website. Serving a web page means the server briefly sees the usual technical details of the request, including your IP address.
Google and GitHub are United States companies, so some data reaches the United States. We rely on the transfer safeguards these providers offer under the GDPR.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries, trial requests and subscription requests that do not become a customer relationship: twelve months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Customer records: seven years. Dutch tax law requires us to keep our administration for that long.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit what we do with it, to hand it to you in a portable form, or to object to us using it. Email privacy@eyedq.com and we answer within one month.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
